My friend and assistant for the day for this past Friday’s shoot, Arna, standing in for a lighting test. She doesn’t see it, but she has a very unique beauty to her. She also has a great sense of style and is crazy creative. This all should make for some great photos of her if I can ever get caught up on everything else I need to get processed. I got some really cool shots Friday while photographing an aikido seminar for a local dojo. Three of the top ranked instructors in North America were there teaching and this lighting test was for the portraits I shot of them prior to the seminar starting. Now, back to the grindstone for me. Work never ends or feels complete when you’re self-employed…
