Advertising Photography: Music + Women + Photography = Yes Please!

I have been in love with music, women, and photography ever since I can remember. No kidding. As a baby my favorite playmate was another baby about my age – a girl. I’ve always liked girls. Always. Then puberty hit, and I became as fascinated with them as I was music and photography. All three can be so incredibly beautiful, unique, challenging, and inspiring to me.

To me, instruments can be as visually beautiful as the sound they create, just as cameras can be as beautiful as the images they create. Women. To me, they can be as beautiful on the outside as they’ve made me feel on the inside. All three can, and have, evoked such emotion and passion out of me for all the right reasons.

So, all this being said, this series of images I shot for an Atlanta area music store chain was a definite win for me. It was one of those times when I had to just stop and realize how lucky I was while on set. Getting paid real money – good money – to photograph musical instruments and musicians is certainly what I would consider a good day at the office. But being ask to elevate the experience by throwing a good looking lady into the mix?

Suuuuure. Why not.
