This shot of a single man reading his Bible, while sitting in The Basilica Of St. Lawrence in Asheville, NC may be my favorite out of everything I shot on that trip in October of 2011. I said “Photo(s)” of the day because this is actually two shots combined to make one. One was exposed for the man that was sitting there reading, and the other was exposed for the stained glass window.  The title “Turn The Page” is due to the blurred motion of him turning the page of his bible during the long exposure time I had to give for the shot of him. I wonder what passage he was reading when I took this…
