I applaud Kanye West for reminding me that I need to respect the musical artistry of Beck by listening to my favorite album of his – Sea Change – through my favorite pair of headphones. Unlike Kanye, the two are a joy to listen to. I will be buying Beck’s latest album, Morning Phase, which appears to sound much like a Sea Change Part 2, just because Kanye brought it to my attention. It seems to be very atmospheric, calming, and inspired. Everything that Kanye isn’t.
