I shot this one the other day of Julia as she sat across from me at a local BBQ joint. I had just finished shooting a job for a client – and she had just gotten off from work and just happened to be in the same area of town I was. So, we had an impromptu dinner date. The food was awesome, as was my company.

This girl is one of the most good-natured and upbeat people I’ve ever known. She’s a disgustingly happy person, and this photo somewhat captures that. It’s just her laughing with me over something or another.

This shot represents happiness to me. I’d just finished shooting a job with several more lined up to shoot, I was about to eat some BBQ – and more specifically – I was about to eat BBQ with – HER.

Food, love, and photography. That’s just about all I need in life in to be happy.

Edit: Julia has informed me that I took this AFTER we had finished eating. So, in that case, this shot REALLY represents happiness to me.
