I shot this last week while on the roof of Crowne Plaza hotel in Atlanta. I was up there photographing a building that was in a completely different direction for one of my clients. As I left, there was just a small amount of light left in the sky, so I took the opportunity to capture this shot of Atlanta as seen from the northern side of the city. It was really peaceful up there.

One of the things I love most about commercial photography is the diversity of work environments I get to work in – and being given access to the rooftop of a high-rise to shoot from.

P.S. Look closely and you can see a jet flying through. It’s right about in the middle of the frame.
