“It’s another way to communicate.” That’s what Mark here told me when I asked him the question, “Why is art important?” 

Mark is an illustrator who started out in advertising as a designer, art director, and eventually, a creative director. The man is an all around creative guru – who has also taught  aspiring creative gurus at schools like The Creative Circus, Portfolio Center and University of Georgia, among others. I asked him what advice he had for other aspiring artists/creatives and his response was: “Stay curious, stay productive, and be courageous.”
