Atlanta Camera Operator :: TomorrowWorld 2015

“Yesterday is history. Today is a gift. Tomorrow is mystery. TomorrowWorld.”

This past weekend I was running a video camera (just like the one you see the guy running at the 1:50 mark) for a company that was contracted out by the producers of TomorrowWorld. When I was on my breaks I spent a good bit of my time wandering around shooting with my iPhone, and this is some video I shot and edited with it. As you will see – it was one giant party – and I feel lucky that I got paid to be there and run a camera at it. I was on stage filming the DJ’s some, but most of the time I was filming the crowd. It’s was pretty awesome seeing how individual people, or groups, would respond to me egging them on, trying to get even more energy out of them for the director to take my shot of them, and then sometimes being able to see their response to seeing themselves on the giant screen. It’s was exhausting work, but a blast at the same time. I love what I do.

I managed to get some pretty good still captures with my phone as well that I will be sharing in another post in another week or so after I’ve gotten them all processed…
