Do unto others…

This is what I was shooting from at daybreak this morning. It was pretty cool — literally. We were about 35 feet up. Not sure what the wind chill was up there, but it was cold. I promise you that. The wind causing the thing to sway added an extra bit of excitement to it all while we were up there.

Yesterday and this morning I was photographing a property that is owned by a man that started his business when he was thirteen years old in his parents yard with some 55 gallon drums. Recycling the metal from old car parts. The property is one million square feet and covers 55 acres — two city blocks. He owns five similar properties across the United States and employees 150 people just at this one property. He’s a billionaire, and it’s my understanding that he is a man of great moral character that treats each of his employee’s like they’re his own family. My only reason for sharing this is that it’s good to know there are people like him in the world.
