I’ve really slacked off with the whole photo of the day challenge I gave myself due to having been busier than ever with work recently. I’m super happy to have all the work coming in, but it still leaves me with the issue of having tons of photos I’ve shot for myself over the years that I’ve never gotten around to processing. Well, this past weekend Julia had a baby shower she had to go to at St. Simons Island and wanted me to come along with her and make the trip into a little mini beach vacation. I couldn’t resist taking my camera along to capture some of the driftwood beaches on nearby Jekyll Island while we were there.

So, now, I’m left with even more personal work I’ve shot that needs to be processed – and I still have my hands filled with real work I need to get done. So, I am going to get back into my groove with the photo of the day challenge by processing and sharing a shot from the trip each day until I’ve shared all of them that I feel are worth sharing. Then, I will continue on with everything else I’ve previously shot but have yet to take the time to edit and process.
