This is Jay, and he’s a window washer for South Beach Highrise Services here in Atlanta.  I first noticed him dangling from a highrise building downtown the other day when I was running an errand. I took the shots of him working with my iPhone, and like those more in color, but the portrait, which is my favorite of all that I got of him, I like more in black and white. As a series they all need to be in color, but to me the portrait just by itself is much stronger in black and white. This was one of those things where each of the shots are the same due to the subject matter, but distinctly different in regards to light, texture, and composition. So, it makes it more difficult to settle with just one “look” as far as processing goes.

This was him coming down for the day – or for a break at least. It was pretty wild seeing how quickly he slid down his rope to the ground.
