Yesterday I mentioned that the photo I had posted was one of three I had taken at night that were among my favorites while visiting St. Simons and Jekyll Island the weekend before last. Well this is shot number two of the three. I really like it due to being able to see the sand trail and more stars in the night sky. I couldn’t get the water and moon in it from this angel, though. So, I’m not sure which of the two is my favorite. Which is yours? Again, this tree is just awesome looking to me no matter what angle you look at it from. It looks like something you would see illustrated in a children’s book rather than something you’d happen upon in real life. This was a 30 second exposure shot at F4 at ISO 200 with my camera locked down on a tripod that was taken around 11:00 or so at night.
